Every academic year, the College of the Environment engages in a recruitment and hiring process that is an exciting opportunity to welcome new and talented faculty to the units and expand the research and educational portfolio of the College.
This section of the web site is intended to guide and inform the faculty and staff who are engaged in competitive faculty searches. Hiring the best possible candidate(s) is the ultimate goal of the hiring process, but getting to that point successfully requires thoughtful preparation and execution.
Of paramount importance to the College of the Environment is that searches and interviews are conducted in such ways as to increase the diversity of the candidate pool and ultimately result in the hiring of the strongest candidates from the broadest backgrounds.
