Nomination instructions

Nominations may be from a single nominator or a group of nominators. Individuals and groups may be nominated in any category except Graduate and Undergraduate Dean’s Medalists. Nominations must address how the nominee meets the award criteria for the category.  Please note that this year nominations will be accepted via a Catalyst WebQ form instead of a letter format.  The Catalyst WebQ form will ask you to provide the following information:

  • The email address of your nominee(s);
  • How you know your nominee;
  • How your nominee meets the criteria and to provide specific examples of what makes them extraordinary in this particular award category (e.g., demonstrated leadership or innovative approaches) (2000 character limit);
  • What the impact(s) have been from the nominee(s)’s efforts (quantifiable if possible) (2000 character limit); and,
  • The WebQ will give you the opportunity to submit supporting documentation into Dropbox (2 page limit per supporting document).

Nominations may come from within the College as well as from outside of the College or the University. Nominations may be saved, edited, finalized and submitted later through Catalyst (UWNetID required).  If you do not have a UWNetID, submit your nomination as an attachment via email to Wendy Berry at (nomination letter and supporting documentation should be limited to 2 pages each),

As a reminder, nominations must be submitted by 5:00 pm on Friday, February 23, 2018 to be considered.
