Engage science communication group launches student blog

Engage, an organization of graduate students in scientific disciplines across UW, helps scientists talk about their work to non-science audiences. They offer a seminar course and a chance to speak at Town Hall, and now their students are blogging about their experiences. New "BioDiverse Perspectives" blog features CoEnv student scientists

Emerging from an interdisciplinary conversation about how to advance knowledge of biodiversity, BioDiverse Perspectives is a blog intended to be a space for graduate students with an interest in biodiversity to share thoughts about important issues in our field. Bloggers focus on reviews of papers that they consider to be Foundational or Frontier in the biodiversity science. CoEnv graduate students Hillary Burgess and Fletcher Halliday are among the contributors.
