Kendall Valentine

Assistant Professor

Kendall is a coastal ecogeomorphologist who enjoys complicated questions of bio-physical-geological interactions—and loves nothing more than being outside in the mud. She joined the faculty at the University of Washington in 2023 and is developing research programs to explore global and Washington-specific coastal issues. Historically, Kendall has focused on estuarine and salt marsh systems, their susceptibility to climate change, and potential solutions.
