Virtual reality—commonly referred to as VR—is the stuff of video games, right? Truth be told, it's bigger than that. At the College of the Environment, scientists are using the tool to transport users into another world and connect them to research. Whether aimed at supplementing teaching material, assisting in decision-making or simply highlighting the WOW-factor around cool research, VR can be a powerful tool in communicating science.
