The 5th annual Pacific Northwest Climate Science Conference — hosted by the Climate Impacts Group and the College of the Environment — will explore the impacts of climate variability and change on the people, natural resources, and infrastructure of the Pacific Northwest. The keynote address will be delivered by Governor Jay Inslee, and the two-day program will include talks from invited speakers and sessions of broad interest connected to climate. Talks are geared for a range of audiences, including policy- and decision-makers, resource managers, and scientists from academia, public agencies, sovereign tribal nations, non-governmental organizations, and the private sector.

The conference will take place on September 9-10, 2014 on the UW campus in Seattle. Conference organizers have posted an agenda, and early registration is available until August 20th. For more information, visit the Pacific Northwest Climate Science Conference webpage.
