The University of Washington has again been named to the Princeton Review’s Green Honor Roll, receiving the highest score possible for the 2012-13 academic year. This marks the fifth year the UW has achieved this distinction.
“We are extremely proud of the sustainability efforts of our community,” said Michael K. Young, UW president. “This honor shows we are making a measurable difference – both in how we are living and how we are teaching others through how we are living.”
The UW, included last year on more than half a dozen lists commending sustainability, also recently placed 12th out of 162 on the Sierra Club’s “Cool Schools” list.
