Working on:

Patrick Tobin is an insect ecologist who maintains a research program on the population dynamics and spatiotemporal ecology of insects, with particular attention to effects of invasive species on native ecosystems, ecosystem services and biodiversity. He also studies plant-insect interactions and the role of climate change on insect seasonality and distributional ranges. He uses both field- and lab-based research approaches, and quantitative approaches, to better quantify the dynamics of the systems he studies.
