Gordon Bradley is a social scientist whose research interests span a wide range of topics, from environmental policy, to land-use planning, to the ecology of urban forests. He has advised and consulted widely in both the public and private sectors. All this work feeds into his interests in land-use change and the relationship between people and nature. In recognition for his distinguished career of research and teaching, in 2010 he was the inaugural recipient of the B. Bruce Bare Endowed Professorship in Forest Resources.
