Dean Hegg

Dean Hegg focuses his research on gas-to-particle conversion in the atmosphere, the chemistry of clouds and rain, and the atmospheric sulfur and nitrogen cycles. He has authored over 100 papers published in scientific journals, as well as more than 50 papers relating to special studies and reports. He was a Lead Author for the IPCC Assessment in 2000, past co-chair for the International Global Atmospheric Chemistry Committee on Aerosol-Clouds, and a past member of the World Meteorological Organization Working Group on Cloud Chemistry and the National Academy of Sciences Panel on Aerosol Radiative Forcing and Climate.
