Chris Lauver is an ecologist at the UW School of Environmental and Forest Sciences and a Senior Science Advisor for the Pacific West Region of the National Park Services (NPS). Chris co-directs the Pacific Northwest Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit (CESU) and is the NPS coordinator for the Pacific Northwest and Great Basin CESUs. Chris’ previous work includes developing protocols to monitor landscape patterns and change for use by NPS Inventory & Monitoring (I&M) networks, and integrating field and Landsat remote sensing data to analyze natural areas and rare species habitat.
