B. Bruce Bare

B. Bruce Bare is a professor with the School of Environmental and Forest Sciences and Dean Emeritus of that school in its former iteration, the College of Forest Resources. He has a long and distinguished career of investigating ways to optimize the sustainable conservation of forest resources. His teaching and research emphasize the application of quantitative techniques to solve natural resource and environmental problems. In recognition of his long record of academic, industry, and public service, he has been elected a Fellow of the Society of American Foresters.
